"On the second anniversary of the June 17 raid, which was
conducted as part of a deal with the mullahs and in order to preserve
their regime, we must ask those who planned that raid and the
appeasers, did you hear the resounding "no" by the Iranian people to
the clerical regime.
Did you hear that Iranian people said loud and clear that they rejected religious dictatorship?
Whether the mullahs' supporters heard the "no" or not, the dawn of change in Iran is on its way." |

PARIS (Reuters) - The election of an ultra-conservative as Iran's next

PARIS, June 25 (AFP) - The victory of hardliner Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in
Iran's presidential election is proof of the failure of western
governments' policy of "appeasement" to the Islamic republic, the
president of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) Maryam
Rajavi said Saturday. |

To continue appeasing mullahs is tantamount to complicity in
suppression, facilitating nuclear weapons procurement and giving free
rein to export of terrorism
In a message to the Iranian people, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi congratulated
them on the nationwide solid boycott of yesterday's sham elections,
saying that it amounted to a complete rejection of the clerical regime.

Is it not true that human rights advocate would insist
visiting places where there have been complaints over human rights
violations? Why is it that despite official invitation by the
Resistance's leader 11 years ago, HRW was never prepared to visit
Mojahedin bases, where it alleges there are prisons and torture
chambers? |

Saturday, 21 May 2005 |
The mullahs' presidential election farce planned by the velayat-e
faqih system is absolutely illegitimate; it is neither an election, nor
free, nor fair and nor legitimate. An election whose candidates are
handpicked by the Guardian Council is not an election.
The Iranian nation's response to such an election masquerade is rejection and boycott. |
