Reuters, Brussels – An Iranian opposition group urged European Union leaders meeting in Brussels on Thursday to take its armed wing off the bloc’s terrorism list, saying its inclusion was in breach of a European court ruling.
The European court of First Instance last year annulled an EU move to freeze the funds of the People’s Mujahideen, the armed wing of France-based National Council of Resistance of Iran which says it renounced military activity in 2001. |

The Associated Press, Brussels, Belgium - Thousands of Iranians rallied on Thursday near the venue of a European Union summit to demand that the EU comply with a court ruling and remove an exiled Iranian resistance movement from its list of terrorist organizations.
The noisy and colorful protest was held just 200 meters (yards) from the European Council building where EU leaders were preparing for a conference. Demonstrators waved EU and Iranian flags, and chanted "Freedom and democracy for Iran," and "The EU must implement the ruling." |

EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - Thousands of people attended a rally in Brussels on Thursday (8 March) by Iran opposition group NRCI calling for EU states to take its sister-organistaion, PMOI, off the EU's terror list in line with a recent court ruling, with senior figures from the European establishment saying PMOI is the "only chance" for reversing Iran's nuclear arms programme. |

Demonstrators chanted "freedom and democracy for Iran" next to the European Council building in Brussels. Organisers said Iranians living in Britain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany had travelled to Brussels to attend the rally. |

On the occasion of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s trip to Norway, Iranians in Oslo gathered outside parliament to hold a candle light vigil, praying for the victory of liberty and democracy in Iran and the salvation of the Iranian people from the clutches of the religious dictatorship.
Mrs. Rajavi, who took part in the ceremony along with several Norwegian personalities, delivered a short speech. She thanked the people of Norway for their hospitality, adding that during the few days she spent in their country, she had been very impressed by Norwegians’ kindness and support as well as the deep emotions of her compatriots in this country. |

On November 7, Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, was invited by the foreign affairs committee of the Norwegian Parliament (Stortinget) to give a speech during its official session on the situation in Iran.
She was welcomed by a group of parliamentary deputies upon her arrival. The press had also come to produce their own reports. Hundreds of Iranians from Oslo had gathered in the morning outside the parliament to welcome the leader of the opposition. |

Agence France Presse, Brussels, October 24 - Maryam Rajavi, president of the opposition National Council of Resistance of Iran made an unofficial visit to the Belgian Senate, which has already angered Tehran.
