Allow me at the outset to pay tribute to advocates of human rights who
have been executed or assassinated by the religious fascism ruling
Iran. Let me also to pay homage to Aime Cesaire, who shined in
literature and in defense of human rights, and whose poems I used to
read during my teenage years.

Message of the Iranian Resistance’s leader Massoud Rajavi to the nation
Tehran regime is in a period of decline, desertions and divisions, which reflects its final phase
Massoud Rajavi, Leader of Iranian Resistance• Brutal crackdown is the mullahs’ response to massive, widespread social upheavals
• The recent Majlis (Parliament) elections paved the way for obtaining
nuclear weapons, regardless of the impending domestic and international
costs
• If Tehran were to abandon export of terrorism and contain itself
within Iran’s borders, the Supreme Leader would lose dynamism, causing
an implosion from within.

“Today we are faced with a big imposture. The mullahs' regime and his lobbies try to prevent the adoption of a politics of firmness against them on the international level on behalf of opposition to the war. I said and repeated several times: we are against a foreign military intervention. Only the Iranian people and its resistance have the capacity and the competence to overthrow this religious regime and to realize a democratic change in Iran. However, the propaganda for peace and compromise with the mullahs' regime under any excuse, are only a call to surrender to the religious fascism”, said Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance. |

Addressing a meeting on Wednesday at the European Parliament on the invitation of the EP's Vice-President Mr. Alejo Vidal Quadras, Mrs. Rajavi said, "The PMOI, as the pivotal force of the Resistance, advocates a democratic and tolerant Islam. It is therefore the political and cultural antidote to the mullahs’ regime. For the same reason, the PMOI is also very popular among Iraqi people. In June 2006, 5.2 million Iraqis signed a declaration in support of the PMOI." The full text of her speech follows : |

On Monday, October 1, 2007, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance addressed the meeting of the group of European People's Party (Christian Democrats) at the Parliamentary Assembly of the 47-nation Council of Europe.
"Foreign military intervention is not the solution for the Iranian crisis. To view firmness towards the mullahs as warmongering, is nothing more than repeating the mullahs’ propaganda and political deception. To continue to negotiate with the mullahs, would only give them the opportunity to acquire the nuclear bomb," said Mrs. Rajavi. The following is the full text of her speech: |

The following is the text of Mrs. Rajavi’s video message to a conference at the U.S. Congress on September 11. The meeting was attended by over 100 congressional experts and aids and was addressed by a number of distinguished opposition leaders in Iraq denouncing the clerical regime’s meddling in their country:
Allow me at the beginning to hail the Iranian people for rising up against an oppressive dictatorship. By resorting to hanging young people in public, the mullahs are trying to intimidate the Iranian nation. But the mass executions have failed to break the resistance of the people. The mullahs have reached the end of the line in Iran. |
