terrorist assassination by the regime in Iran. Revealing two cases of failed
terror attempts against Mrs. Rajavi would clearly unveil Tehran's determination in its evil intentions.
All diplomatic means and economic relations are deployed along this line
Planned assassination in Dortmond gathering
June 1995: Maryam Rajavi was invited to a gthering of 15,000
Iranians in Dortmond - Germany.
Two Iranian diplomats who had made preparations to assassinate Maryam Rajavi in
Germany
were arrested in the same month. The plot was unveiled by the New York Times, June
25, 1995 at the time. German Foreign Ministry asked these two diplomats by the
names of Ali Osouli and Jalal Abbassi to leave Germany. According to German
security services Osouli was in charge of spying on members of Iranian
opposition at the Iranian embassy in Bonn.
They prepared the plan for Maryam Rajavi's assassination in spring of 1995. Tehran regime retaliated
by expelling two German diplomats. (Der Tagesspeigel, August 29, 1995)
German government was warned about assassination attempts
against Maryam Rajavi prior to the large gathering called by the National
Council of Resistance of Iran. (Die Tageszeitung, June 27, 1995) The security
circles also confirmed that Bonn
had prior knowledge of planned assassination against Maryam Rajavi. (Frankfurther
