In a message on behalf of Iranian people and resistance, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of National Council of Resistance of Iran, congratulated Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, the President of Palestinian National Authority, on the landmark victory of Palestinian People, the Palestinian National Authority and Palestine Liberation Organization.
"The elevation of the Palestinian National Authority to "non-member observer state," through an overwhelming majority in the UN General Assembly, is a major achievement for the great people of Palestine and all the people of the region," she said. Mrs. Rajavi added: "On this momentous occasion, the Iranian resistance and the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran join the brave people of Palestine in their jubilation and celebration. This victory especially manifests the defeat of the treacherous policy of the religious fascism ruling Iran that has done its utmost to obstruct and divide this consensus towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian state."

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, welcomed the adoption of 58th resolution condemning human rights violations in Iran, in the Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, and said: This resolution doubles the necessity of referring the dossier of the crimes of mullahs ruling Iran to the Security Council and imposing comprehensive sanctions against this regime and prosecution of its leaders. A regime, which has executed 120,000 political prisoners, has ignored 57 past UN resolutions, has refused the visit of Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights and other thematic Special Rapporteurs to Iran and systematically violates all human rights norms. While the situation of human rights in Iran deteriorates day by day, sufficing condemnation is not enough. This regime must be held accountable and rejected from the international community. Mrs. Rajavi urged all Iranians, freedom seekers and supporters of the Iranian resistance across the world to rise up to defend prisoners, confront mass executions and suppression of women and youth by expanding the defence of human rights campaign. She added that while the mullahs’ regime, facing unsolvable crisis and increasing internal and international isolation, has resorted to unprecedented level of suppression, torture and killings, condemning resolutions are not enough and this inhuman regime must be held accountable and rejected from the international community. This would be a serious message to the Iranian rulers and an effective message to the Iranian people, that the international community has ended inaction and silence against religious dictatorship. She warned all those who try to overlook human rights violations in Iran and oppose effective international measure in this regard that the mullahs ruling Iran have no future and any political and economic investment on this regime is doomed to fail.

The Resistance under leadership of Mrs. Rajavi is mullahs’ credible alternative and should be recognized as such • Warning against plunder of Ashraf and Liberty residents’ movable and immovable property and criticizing UN representative’s approach and his inaction in defending residents’ right to ownership
Maryam Rajavi: • The time has come for toppling of the mullahs; annulment of the terror tag has given regime’s crises an overthrowing characteristic, has tilted the balance of power between the resistance movement and the regime, and has prepared the ground for recuperation of Resistance’s forces inside Iran and the expansion of its units • Obama administration in its second term should set aside its failed policy of appeasement with the mullahs and adopt a fresh and firm policy • Close down Iranian regime’s embassies; • After certain fall of Syrian dictator, it would be mullahs’ turn to be overthrown.
In an international conference in Paris titled “PMOI Delisting and Prospect of Change in 2013”, prominent American, French and Arab personalities reiterated on the urgent threat of mullahs’ regime for peace, tranquility and democracy in the region and globe while warning that the timeline for adopting a new policy against this regime is quickly running out. Speakers to the conference held at the invitation of the French Committee for a Democratic Iran (CFID) and presided over by François Colcombet, judge and former member of French National Assembly, were: Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance; Rudy Giuliani, former Mayor of New York and U.S. Presidential candidate (2008); Ed Rendell, Leader of Democratic Party (1999-2001) and Governor of Pennsylvania (2002-2011); Tom Ridge, first U.S. Homeland Security Secretary (2003-2005); John Bolton former U.S. Ambassador to United Nations; Patrick Kennedy, former member of U.S. House of Representatives (1995-2011); Michael Mukasey, former U.S. Attorney General (2007-2009); Sid Ahmed Ghozali, former Prime Minister of Algeria; Ingrid Betancourt, former Columbian presidential candidate; Senator Robert Torricelli; Mitchell Reiss former Director of Policy Planning at the U.S. Department of State (2003-2005); Linda Chavez, former White House Director of Public Liaison; Dominique Lefebvre, member of French National Assembly, General David Phillips, Commander of U.S. Military Police (2008-2011); Colonel Wesley Martin, former senior Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Officer for all Coalition Forces in Iraq and U.S. Commander for Protection of Ashraf ; Colonel Leo McCloskey, JIATF Commander in Ashraf until 2009; Professor Raymond Tanter, former member of U.S. National Security Council; and Dr. Allan Gerson, former Chief Counsel of U.S. delegation to United Nations. A delegation representing Syrian resistance and another parliamentary delegation from Egypt participated too and delivered their speech. Speakers underscored that the 10-point plan of Mrs. Rajavi that includes universal democratic values, along with the opposition force under her leadership, constitutes a credible alternative to the mullahs’ regime that should be supported and recognized by the world community.

Ma ryam Rajavi calls on the United Nations Security Council to stop executions and prosecute Iranian regime leaders and all individuals responsible for torture and execution
The killing machine of the murderous dictatorship in Iran is continually victimizing the Iranian people. On Thursday November 8, the clerical regime hanged five prisoners in the city of Shiraz. Yesterday, sixteen prisoners were hanged in Tehran, Shiraz, Zarand and Mashhad. All executions are committed with the agreement of Khamenei. Therefore, the number of executions since 18 days ago is 45 and since beginning of 2012 amounts to at least 383 executions. Execution of political prisoners titled drug dealers is an ordinary and well known method used by the clerical regime. At the same time, torture and murder of political prisoners continues. On November 6 Sattar Beheshti, a political prisoner aged 35, was killed under torture eight days after his arrest.
