Around 680 Ashraf residents are ready to move to Liberty

and reiterated to work towards resolution of humanitarian issues in this Camp and to support the safety and security of the residents, Maryam Rajavi, declared, “Around 680 Ashraf residents will be ready to move from Ashraf to Camp Liberty on September 12 and they could start loading their belongings from tomorrow  even through hiring 100 trucks at their own expenses. According to former agreements with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General (SRSG) and the Government of Iraq (GoI), 58 trucks were to be allocated to transfer of the belongings and the equipments of every 400 people.” and reiterated to work towards resolution of humanitarian issues in this Camp and to support the safety and security of the residents, Maryam Rajavi, declared, “Around 680 Ashraf residents will be ready to move from Ashraf to Camp Liberty on September 12 and they could start loading their belongings from tomorrow  even through hiring 100 trucks at their own expenses. According to former agreements with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General (SRSG) and the Government of Iraq (GoI), 58 trucks were to be allocated to transfer of the belongings and the equipments of every 400 people.”
Maryam Rajavi added, “According to a letter sent by the SRSG before the sixth convoy moved on August 28, transfer of the 21 trucks carrying the belongings of this convoy has to be prioritized and Iraqi officials should not obstruct the transfer of all the items mentioned in the SRSG letter particularly the generators required for pumping water to Liberty.”
She hoped that as pointed out in the State Department’s statement, the United States will take the appropriate measures in order to resolve the essential humanitarian issues such as water, electricity, minimum constructions, transfer of the passenger and utility vehicles necessary for the residents’ daily life and also to support their safety and security particularly that of the last convoy which will move to Liberty on September 12.
