His henchmen hanged eleven prisoners in Evin Prison only yesterday while a number of other prisoners were awaiting their execution. Gholamreza Khosravi is one such prisoner who was sentenced to death only because he gave financial aid to Simaye-Azadi Television.
There seem to be also a number of deprived and in adversity Afghan citizens amongst those executed or sentenced to death.
While underscoring that these savage and arbitrary mass executions are considered as crime against humanity, Maryam Rajavi called upon the international Community particularly the UN Security Council, Secretary General, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, European Union, the United States and all human rights organizations to firmly condemn the Iranian regime and adopt effective measures in order to stop the bloodshed and crime and to seek the trial of Khamenei and other top leaders of the regime for committing crime against humanity.
Maryam Rajavi declared that as repeatedly announced by the Iranian Resistance, people of Iran are the ones who are paying the price for the anti-human clerical regime’s diplomatic dealings and conferences like the non-aligned Summit by being executed, tortured and suppressed. Therefore, they naturally expect the international community and the UN Secretary General to show a firm reaction against a new wave of mass executions which are happening a week after the UNSG and his deputy on political returned from Tehran.
Maryam Rajavi underscored that the economical and diplomatic dealings with the bloodthirsty religious fascism ruling Iran only fuels its machinery for execution, torturing and terrorizing as well as obtaining  nuclear weapon. She called upon all countries throughout the world to likewise Canada, stop all economical and political relations with the Iranian regime and to support the struggle of the Iranian people for democracy and freedom.
