40 Days On: Tribute to the Heroes of the January 2026 Uprising

To the mothers, fathers, families, and compatriots across Iran who, on the fortieth day since the loss of your children, stand in mourning and in defiance,
This fortieth day of that sea of blood, this fortieth day of that national sacrifice, this fortieth day of that immense price paid for freedom, is a day to renew our pledge to carry the fallen’s uprising through to victory.
In these forty days, these forty days of tears, anger, and the searing grief of an entire people, Khamenei and his hated circle, with bloodstained hands, have waged an unrelenting campaign of arrests, interrogations, and torture against tens of thousands of young people, against those seized during the uprising. They have detained nurses and doctors whose only act was to heal the wounded.
They have tried to erase the evidence of their grave crime against humanity. Yet all their repression has failed to conceal the fear that now grips their rule more than ever before. They tremble, because the rising cry of resistance and the call for their downfall can be heard everywhere.
Salute and a thousand salutes to the mothers and fathers of those who gave their lives, to these honorable women and men, and to the people who stand beside them, who have joined mourning for Iran’s fallen sons and daughters with renewed resolve and celebration of freedom.
This is the greatness of Iran’s Resistance and uprising. The fortieth day of its fallen has become a source of pride and strength for the people, and a source of dread and despair for those who oppress them.
On this proud fortieth day, from the Persian Gulf to the Caspian Sea, the mountains, forests, plains, and rivers echo with their names.
The earth and the passage of time bear witness that victory and freedom for the people of Iran are drawing near, through organized resistance and through the courage of rebellious youth and the brave fighters of the Resistance Units.
