How can we break the clerical regime’s demonization campaign against the Iranian Resistance?
Demonization and spreading lies are not new phenomena; throughout history, they have always been tools of dictatorships used against freedom-seekers.
Regarding the Mojahedin, from day one, Khomeini branded the Mojahedin as “hypocrites.”
In fact, lying and demonization have been central tools of this regime from the very beginning. Depending on the circumstances, the regime has always lined up a series of accusations to justify its attacks against the Mojahedin, including complicity with Iraq, killing the Kurds, being a sect, a cult, undemocratic, etc.
The regime has written and published hundreds of books; it has produced hundreds of films.
Demonization has three main objectives:
Objective One: to justify repression and massacres inside the country.
Objective Two: to drive Western governments and media into a policy of appeasement.
Objective Three: to intimidate the people, especially young people, and deter them from coming close to the Mojahedin.
Therefore, the regime’s main aim in demonizing the PMOI is to prevent the new generations, the youth, Generation Z, from coming close to the Mojahedin.
