Maryam Rajavi, Laying flower for the Auschwitz memorial, Strasbourg – 26 January 2015

Upon the invitation of members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Maryam Rajavi participated in a ceremony sponsored by the European Council and marking the 70th anniversary of the Auschwitz. While accompanied by Mr. Jordi Xocla, head of the Liberal Democratic group in the EC parliamentary assembly. Mr. Torbjorn Jagland, general secretary of the European Council and head of the Noble Peace Prize Committee and former Prime Minister of Norway, as well asAnne Brasseur, President of the EC Parliamentary Assembly, leaders of various political groups in the parliament and representatives from 47 EU member states also participated in this program.
