Parliamentary committees of the UK, Switzerland and Finland sponsored a conference on January 26 at the Council of Europe, called, “Terrorist–Extremist Crisis: roots, solutions and role of Iran’s religious dictatorship.” The meeting coincided with the official session of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
Maryam Rajavi said in this conference that eviction of the Iranian regime from Iraq and Syria is the first and foremost step for overcoming fundamentalism. She laid emphasis on the need to support the people of Syria for the overthrow of the Assad regime. She warned: The massacre of hundreds of thousands of people in Syria and Iraq does not stop there, but will extend to the entire region and move on to the heart of Europe.
