Call for immediate action against executions

She said the execution of dozens of prisoners in recent days in Tehran and other cities, suspicious death of a number of prisoners, issuing large number of death sentences and hand amputation in recent days indicate the cruel war of the regime of Velayat-e-Faqih (Supremacy of the clergy) with the Iranian people.

She added: By committing these crimes Khamenei tries to prevent the appearance of any rift after his great failure in the sham elections. The regime’s new President also expresses his loyalty to the policy of suppression by maintaining complete silence.
Rajavi called on the international community, especially the Security Council of the United Nations, the Secretary General, the Human Rights Commissioner and other related UN bodies to take immediate action against appalling and systematic human rights violation in Iran, especially increasing number of executions.
