Iran: Brutal Execution of Mojahed Korkor on Khamenei’s Orders

Mrs. Rajavi’s Call for Referral of the Regime’s Crimes to the UN Security Council and for the Regime’s Leaders to Face Justice
This morning, on June 11, 2025, Mojahed Korkor was executed on Khamenei’s orders in Sheiban Prison in Ahvaz. The regime’s judiciary accused him of “shooting with a military weapon, forming and membership in a rebellious group through armed action.” The 42-year-old Mojahed Korkor had been wounded and arrested amid the uprising on December 20, 2022, and was subjected to torture.
This brutal execution, as well as the unprecedented and escalating wave of executions, especially in recent weeks, once again proves the reality that the mullahs’ dictatorship, at the height of its weakness, crisis, and rapid decline, has resorted more than ever to executions and massacres. The number of recorded executions since the beginning of Iranian year 1404 (March 21), that is, in the past 82 days, has reached at least 376 individuals.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, stated that the religious fascism vainly attempts to prevent the uprising through these savage executions; however, this boundless bloodshed only fuels the flames of the people’s outrage. She called upon all human rights advocates to condemn the execution of Mojahed Korkor and demanded that the case of Iran’s severe human rights violations be referred to the UN Security Council, and that Ali Khamenei and the regime’s other leaders be brought to justice for 45 years of crimes against humanity and genocide.
