Escalation of Killings and Executions in Fear of Uprising: 20 Criminal Executions in Four Days

Two Kurdish Political Prisoners Tortured to Death in Urmia Intelli-gence Office
Public Execution of 2 Prisoners in Foulad Shahr for Murdering an SSF Agent
Execution of 3 Female Prisoners in Isfahan and Gohardasht

Amidst the Iranian people’s explosive anger and incurable crises, and in anticipation of a potential uprising, Khamenei has resorted to intensifying executions and torture.
On Thursday, July 13, two prisoners, Mohammad Qaedi Nasab and Sadegh Mahmoudi, were publicly hanged in Foulad Shahr of Isfahan for the murder of an SSF (State Security Force) agent. Additional-ly, three Baluch prisoners named Mehdi Shariati, Rashid Dahmardeh, and Salari were executed in Jiroft prison.

Khamenei’s executioners carried out the execution of seven prisoners on Wednesday, July 12. Among them, a female prisoner named Fatemeh Yusufabadi was hanged along with four others in Gohardasht prison. Hamed Hosseinpour was executed in Maku prison, and Hossein Ali Zarooni in Ilam central prison.

On July 11, Musa Shah Bakhsh, a Baluch prisoner in Zahedan Central Prison, and Bakhtiar Cheraghi, a Kurdish prisoner, were sent to the gallows by regime’s henchmen after 12 years of imprisonment in Kermanshah Central Prison. On Sunday, July 9, six prisoners, including two women, were executed. Monireh Siadat and Farzieh Shokrallahi were executed in Isfahan Central Prison, Ebrahim Alizehi, a Baluch prisoner, in Zahedan Central Prison, Abdul Hadi Rigi (Shahu Zehi), another Baluch prisoner, in Kerman Central Prison, and two other prisoners in Arak Central Prison.

This week, agents of Urmia’s intelligence department brutally tortured and killed two Kurdish politi-cal prisoners, Musa Esmaili and Peyman Galwani.
On Thursday, July 6, Musa Hakimi was hanged in Qom Central Prison, while Abbas Rashki and Saber Moghadami were executed in Adelabad Prison, Shiraz. On July 4, three prisoners were hanged in Bandar Abbas Central Prison.
In response to these heinous executions, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), stated that Khamenei, driven by his bloodthirstiness and a desperate attempt to prolong his regime’s lifespan, has resorted to increasing executions and torture. However, he has reached a dead end.

Within two days, only 13 criminal executions have taken place in Gohar-dasht, Isfahan, Kerman, Ilam, and Maku prisons, including a female victim. This marks the third woman executed in the past 10 days. She added, “As I emphasized during yesterday’s meeting in the Italian parliament, the regime has no other means to address the explosive societal situation apart from repression and execution. The policy of appeasement and concessions toward the mullahs’ re-gime only emboldens them to carry out further executions and killings. This policy must come to an end.”
