Iran: The staggering number of Coronavirus death toll exceeds 321,300

Tehran and 91 cities in 20 provinces are red, and 183 cities are orange

Iraj Harirchi, regime’s deputy Health Minister: In half of the provinces, an increasing trend of infection indicates the start of the fifth COVID-19 outbreak. Beginning Saturday, more cities will turn red. (Entekhab daily, July 1, 2021)

Zahedan University of Medical Sciences: The COVID-19 situation in the Province is extremely critical. Out of 2,300 daily COVID-19 tests, 39% are positive, 90% of which are the British or Delta variants. (IRNA news agency, July 2, 2021)

The regime parliament deputy from Hormozgan Province: Hormozgan Province is in the most critical situation regarding the Coronavirus outbreak. It has 2% of the country’s population but 15% of the COVID-19 inpatients. (Fars news agency, July 2, 2021)

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), expressed her condolences on the death of a large number of deprived residents of Sistan and Baluchestan, Hormozgan, and other southern regions due to Coronavirus and called on the youth to rush to the aid of the sick. She said most of the deaths were preventable. The criminal and plundering policies of the clerical regime and the ban on the purchase of vaccines from the United States and Europe have made Iran by far the largest victim of the Coronavirus in the world. This is a crime against humanity. Khamenei is the first culprit and must be brought to justice.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Friday, July 2, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities is more than 321,300. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 75,176, Isfahan 21,715, Khuzestan 20,351, Khorasan Razavi 19,565, West Azerbaijan 11,943, Fars 10,802, Alborz 9,138, Sistan and Baluchestan 7,826, Kerman 7,388, Kermanshah 6,198, Kurdistan 5,467, Hormozgan 4,790, Ardabil 3,950, Bushehr 3,484, and South Khorasan 2,966.
